Truck driver Shortage

The shortage of truck drivers is foreseen to triple by 2026, if no action is taken. Some 30% of the European truck drivers will retire by 2026, but the number of new drivers is way lower than needed.

Moving much more cargo by intermodal transport could be an important part of the solution, but action is needed!
